Accessibility

Steppr+ should work for everyone. Here's what we build for and how to tell us when it doesn't.

We aim for WCAG 2.2 AA across the public site, member app, Expert workspace and admin tools. In practice that means:

  • Full keyboard operation, with a skip link and visible focus states.
  • Semantic headings, landmarks and labels so screen readers announce structure and form errors.
  • Touch targets of at least 44px and layouts that hold from 320px wide up to large desktops.
  • Text that survives 200% zoom, and colour contrast checked against the dark theme.
  • Reduced-motion support: parallax and animation settle when your system asks for less motion.
  • Workout timers and booking flows that don't depend on colour alone.

Accessibility is checked with assistive technology and keyboard-only passes during QA, but we don't claim perfect compliance from automated tests alone.
